How to Make Potion of Blight in Metaphor: ReFantazio for Ancestral Solution

In order to get into the Dragon Temple and save Eupha in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you need to get the Potion of Blight for the “Ancestral Solution” quest. While it isn’t difficult to accomplish, it does involve quite a bit of running around.

How do I make the Metaphor: ReFantazio Potion of Blight?

If you try to immediately head to the Dragon Temple after being freed on Virga Island, you’ll find a giant tree blocking the entrance. Head back to town and talk with Eupha’s brother Edeni. He’ll task you with the “Ancestral Solution” quest to get the items for him to make the Potion of Blight. The Quest Start page will mention talking to Batlin or going to the Golden Deer Hearth informant.

Head to the Golden Deer Hearth tavern on Virga Island. It’s clearly marked on the map. The informant there won’t have any information. Instead, you will be directed to Grand Trad. Go to the Hushed Honeybee inn and talk to the informant there. For 600 reeve, you can learn that the Sunshade Row Comfort Concoctions item shop in that town sells Parchwater for 500 reeve. There’s only one there, and it is in the key item section.

Head back to Edeni. You’ll get the Potion of Blight. Head back to the Dragon Temple, and you’ll finally be able to get inside.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is also a demo available.
