As part of the statement, FromSoftware emphasized its dedication to “producing games that reflect its passion for delivering value and joy to players.” As part of that, the company officially acknowledged the importance of cultivating a work environment that not only encourages creativity, but also ensures financial stability for its employees. As such, the decision to increase the base pay and starting salary for all FromSoftware employees was decided upon.

This comes as the developer continues to support its existing titles, in addition to likely working on new ones. It’s been regularly patching Elden Ring following the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on. For example, it’s rebalanced the difficulty of bosses and consistently dealt with bugs.

Elden Ring is the most recent FromSoftware title, and it and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC are immediately available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
