Kadokawa Games and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva developer Dingo have a dating simulation called Photo Kano. The PSP game begins when you get a camera as a gift for your birthday. Naturally (?), you decide to bring it to school and take pictures of your female classmates in hope of finding a girlfriend before the school festival in two months.
You play Photo Kano by picking events on a campus map. There are four times (recess, lunch, recess, afterschool) where you can talk to different girls. Heart icons indicate a story scene. Question marks are for free events where you get to know the personalities of the Photo Kano’s cast. Kadokawa Games created over 500 events with full voice acting for players to see.
During events you will talk to the girls using the biorhythm matching system. A meter on the top right shows the biorhythm line. Follow it by picking the right topics to increase the tension gauge. When it is almost full you can pick "topic attack" to ask the girl to pose in pictures. In photo mode, the PSP acts like a camera. Press the R button to take pictures and you can rotate the PSP to take long, vertically long pictures. The kinds of poses the girls make depends on their feelings for you.
Photo Kano is scheduled for a summer release in Japan.
