How to Obtain the Juicer in Moonstone Island

You won’t be able to make any juice in Moonstone Island until you take part in the Cooking Festival. This takes place at 20:00 on Fall 21 in the town square. This is a competition for chefs to produce the best dish, so it’s best to complete the cooking quest before taking part in this festival. While victory isn’t required for the Juicer, it’s recommended to turn up with the best you can cook for the best rewards.

Whether you win or not, the Juicer blueprint can now be retrieved from the Community Chest in Rowan’s shop. Pick it up and you can now build the Juicer. You’ll need 10 Wood and 1 Iron Ingot. Wood is obviously obtained from trees and Iron Ingots can be forged in a Furnace using 3 Iron Ore and 1 Coal. The Juicer is a big machine, so it might be better to place this one outside as it will take up a lot of space inside your house.

How to Use the Juicer

The Juicer can be used to make different varieties of juice in Moonstone Island using a select number of crops. Each portion of juice you produce also needs a Moonstone and a vial of Water, which can be bought from the Tavern.

There are four types of juice that can be made. These are Yarrow Juice, Tiny Flower Juice, Ghostshroom Juice and Snowdrop Juice. They’re all named after the crop you need to combine with the Water and Moonstone. You only need one for each portion you produce.

Each of these crops is obtained from a Psychic Storm in a different season. Yarrow can be found in Spring, Tiny Flower is Summer, Ghostshroom is Fall and Snowdrop Flowers are Winter. Of course, once they are obtained for the first time, their seeds can be sold to the Conservatory so they can be purchased at any time after that.

To make juice, take your ingredients to the Juicer and interact with it. Select the juice you’d like and you’ll instantly spend your items and gain three of the selected juice.

Juice can be used in Moonstone Island to improve your relationship with your fellow townsfolk. Each juice has its own effect on how relationship points work after drinking it. These effects only last for the day you drink the juice.

You can check out the effects of the juices below:

  • Yarrow Juice – increases all relationship point gains by 1
  • Tiny Flower Juice – increases chances of chatting, joking and flirting by 10%
  • Ghostshroom Juice – increases chances of successfully asking on a date by 10%
  • Snowdrop Juice – increases relationship point gain from talking, but reduces the chances of each

Moonstone Island is out now for PC and Switch.
