The Fighting Game Channel overview of Mai in Fatal Fury: CotW is almost nine minutes long. It discusses not only Mai’s history as a character, but how she handles and what moves she’s capable of using. In the video, it shows variations of her REV Blows and other attacks, as well as how they could be used in an actual battle.

You can check out the Mai review here:

According to the reviewer, Mai feels easy to handle. With Musasabi no Mai, she’s capable of quickly traversing across the screen, and you can also follow it up with a fast attack. Her Kagerou no Mai super doesn’t have a lot of reach, but its i-frames can be used to start up a combo. Her other super, Super Deadly Ninja Bees, is in the video too. While you can cancel the attack, the reviewer stated that he wasn’t able to find a good way to employ it in practice. Finally, her Sakura Storm Dance Suzaku hidden gear temporarily transforms back into her classic outfit.

Fatal Fury: CotW will come out on April 24, 2025 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Mai will be one of the characters available at launch.
