How to Use amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

There are dozens and dozens of The Legend of Zelda-themed amiibo in existence. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if more come out in the future. With so many available today, it is worth noting that you can use amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Just know that not all amiibo are compatible and will grant you in-game rewards like the Black Cat Suit for Zelda.

How to Use amiibo

You can use amiibo in this latest Zelda title pretty much as soon as you enter the open world. What you want to do is open up the main menu and tab to the right all the way to the end to the System section. You then want to go past the save and load options to the “amiibo” option that is near the bottom of this menu.

Using amiibo in this game is quite similar to its counterparts in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Select “amiibo” and then scan the bottom of your amiibo onto your controller. You can use Joy-Cons or the Pro Controller; either will work for this scenario. Note that you are only able to scan three amiibos per day. However, you can get around this with changing the date on your Switch.

All Compatible Zelda amiibo in Echoes of Wisdom

It’s worth noting that you aren’t able to use every single amiibo in existence in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. You are only able to use the Zelda-themed amiibo and that’s it. Fortunately, that includes a whopping 28 different amiibo, so you certainly won’t be starving for options. Here are all of the different amiibo that are compatible with this game:
