How to Flip LOZ: Echoes of Wisdom Graveyard Puzzle Switch

There are often small, hidden dungeons and caves in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, with one hidden under a grave in a graveyard in Hyrule Field involving quite a puzzle tied to a switch in a room out of reach. However, this location gives you the exact echo you need to find your way through and get the reward.

How do I flip The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Hyrule Field graveyard puzzle switch?

Okay, so first you need to gain access to this location. It’s available after you complete the tutorial, and I tackled it after the Hyrule Castle rifts was repaired. You need to fix a minor rift that makes the church and graveyard in Hyrule Field reappear behind the castle in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, before you can even reach this specific grave, access the dungeon, and flip the switch to solve the puzzle within it. There will be two suspicious torches on either side of the large grave to start. The NPC standing nearby will hint there is something up with it. Use a fire-type monster like Ignizol to ensure both are lit.

Once those are lit, you can descend the staircase into the cave. It is populated with Ghini ghost monsters. These are easy enough to beat. I recommend plopping down an Ignizol. The Ghini will dash up to lick it, killing itself in the process. Grab the echo of one in this room. Also, don’t forget to also grab the echo of the Stuffed Toy nearby for fun. You can use this to lure the Ghini here and in other rooms in this area. 

It’s the second room in this dungeon that is the difficult one. There will be multiple Ghinis flying around and an isolated room in the back with a switch in it. You can’t advance unless you hit that switch. The enemy Ghinis won’t do so. You can’t get through the wall with a bomb. The trick is a feature that you might not use often in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Summon your Ghini echo. Then, walk to the back wall in front of the switch. Hold the ZL button. This will cause red crosshairs to appear on the switch, directing the Ghini to attack it. The door will open after you do.

The third room here is the one with the Ghini Lv 2 enemy. This is the only area in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom where you can find this foe and its echo! Defeat it and the other Ghini around. You’ll then be able to make a copy of it and proceed to the fourth room, which has a chest with a Golden Egg in it for your reward.
