As part of the promotion cycle for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake, Konami opened the Silent Hill Historical Society website, a new alternate reality game created by Daiyonkyokai. However, it seems likely that the Silent Hill Historical Society website features AI art. [Thanks, Sisslethecat on X!]
The newly unveiled Silent Hill Historical Society website is available in both English and Japanese, and it features information about the fictional city as if it were a real location, including maps and even the fictional staff members of the association. Additionally, you can find various seemingly innocuous hints towards new updates being included in the page in the future.
However, artist and writer October Keegan (@Sisslethecat on social media) spotted some inconsistencies on the art featured in the Silent Hill Historical Society website that seem to indicate it was created using generative AI. While Konami commissioned the site, Japanese company Daiyonkyokai was ultimately responsible for the creation of the website, and there are no signs that remake developers Bloober Team had a hand on it either. Neither made a comment on it as of time of writing.

Silent Hill 2 will come out for the PS5 and Windows PC on October 8, 2024. The game will be a PS5 console exclusive for one year.
