As usual, the stream will air first on the official Genshin Impact Twitch account. The Special Program will then be archived on YouTube after that. If you’re watching live or later that day, you can collect codes for Primogems and other in-game items. Those are only good while supplies last and only can be redeemed on September 27, 2024.

So far, only one new character is confirmed for the 5.1 Genshin Impact update, so we’ll see Xilonen during the Special Program. She’s a five-star unit who hails from Natlan. She’s a Geo unit and blacksmith. We don’t know too much about her just yet, as her full moveset will come up in the showcase. So will details about her signature weapon, which will be available on a limited five-star banner when 5.1 comes.

At the moment, there is another new Genshin Impact character currently available. People can pull on the new banner for Kinich until October 8, 2024. Raiden Shogun returned as well. The update is expected to arrive on October 9, 2024, after both of those limited-time wishes end.

Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the time and date for the Special Program for 5.1 is 5am PT/8am ET/2pm CET on September 27, 2024. The Xbox Series X version of the game will launch on November 20, 2024.
