AirAsia offers flights both within Malaysia and worldwide, though only its AirAsia X branch flies to Honolulu, Hawaii in the US. The initial Atlus announcement didn’t reveal details about the Persona 5 Royal plane and flights. Instead, it clarified the model aircraft that will feature the design and showed concept art. The Airbus 320 9M-AFF will be the one getting the Persona treatment.

Both sides of the AirAsia plane will feature the Persona 5 Royal logo. They will also feature the slogan, “Take the sky. Take your time and enjoy your flight.” The color scheme will be almost entirely black, red, and white. Art of Joker with his Phantom Thieves mask will be on the right side of the aircraft, while Morgana will appear on the left.

It is incredibly common for Asian airlines to feature customized planes inspired by pop culture icons, anime series, or games. For example, EVA Air offers a Hello Kitty Besties Jet with characters like Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody on it. All Nippon Airways features Pokemon-inspired flights, complete with special in-flight safety videos and other exclusive features.

Persona 5 is on the PS3 and PS4, while Royal is on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. More details about the AirAsia plane will appear in October 2024.
