Which LOZ Echoes of Wisdom Explosions Galore Echoes Does Dampe Need?

After you learn how to make an Automaton in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Dampe adds new quests like “Explosions Galore” that require more echoes for new creations. However, this one may require you to start to work on the Eldin Volcano rift or complete the “The Fireworks Artist” sidequest first to finish it.

Which two echoes do I need for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom “ Explosions Galore” Automaton?

First, you need to finish the “Automaton Engineer Dampe” The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom sidequest to even gain access to this quest. This also means repairing the Suthorn, Gerudo, Jabul, and Hyrule Castle rifts. Once you do and you check the notebook on Dampe’s bench, you’ll see “Explosions Galore” is an option. Dampe asks for “a creature that spits stones out of its mouth” and says to visit Goron Town to see the fireworks maker to pick up fireworks for inspiration.

The “creature that spits stones out of its mouth” is an easy one to find. You need an Octorok. This can be found in Lake Hyrule and other locations. It’s very common, and odds are you’ll already have gotten one here or while helping the Zoras with their rift in Jabul. 

The firework echo is similarly easy to get, but you do need to complete some other quests to get it. From what I saw, you need to start the Eldin Volcano rift campaign questline and finish “The Fireworks Artist” sidequest at the Gorons’ village. The latter I did early on, as it is available after Suthorn’s rift is repaired. Wander up to the village and have a handy Crawltula to get you through it. The former does involve at least starting that part of the campaign quest until the rift at the Gorons’ hometown is repaired. This is because the fireworks creator is sucked into that rift and needs to be brought back. If you do, then the firework you need to copy will be in front of the character, ready to be copied so you can show it to Dampe.
