The Original Resident Evil 3 to Release on PC Through GoG

The original version of Resident Evil 3 will release for PC through GoG. It will be available on September 25, 2024, with consumers available to purchase it individually or as part of GoG’s Resident Evil bundle. GoG hasn’t listed a price for individual purchase, but the Resident Evil bundle is available for $24.99, and includes the original versions of the first game and it’s sequel, Resident Evil 2.

The PC version that will appear on GoG will support English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese text options, but will only be available with English audio. Like all games released through GoG, it will come DRM free.

Mercenaries Mode will be available in this version of the game, it will include new rendering options improved video subtitles, issue-less task switching, and full compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis originally released in June 2000 for the PlayStation. It then appeared on PC, and subsequently the Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube. The game stars Jill Valentine, a former member of S.T.A.R.S., who must escape the nightmarish hordes of zombies and the imposing Nemesis while uncovering Umbrella’s involvement in the Raccoon City incident.

The original Resident Evil 3 will release on PC through GoG on September 25, 2024.
