When Do You Meet Rindo And Shoka From NEO: TWEWY in Reynatis

One of the most highly anticipated aspects of Reynatis is its cross-over event with NEO: The World Ends with You. The cross-over event comes in the form of a side quest, which becomes available to you in Chapter 20. Reaching this part of the story will roughly take 10-12 hours. In this guide, we will tell you how to start the mission in Reynatis and when you individually meet Rindo and Shoka from NEO: TWEWY.

How do you start the NEO: TWEWY side mission?

When you begin Chapter 20, you will start in the Church’s Office. Head out of this room, and you will be in the Church’s Main Hall. A glistening light will be on the room’s left side by the exit door. If you interact with it, you will have the option to start the side quest. Reynatis recommends being level 45 before taking on this cross-over event. I completed this side quest at level 40, but I found myself using healing items, so level 45 is a solid suggestion for most players.

When do you meet Rindo in Reynatis?

When you start the mission, you will pick up a pin tied to NEO: TWEWY. Afterwards, Marin will receive a phone call from Moa, informing him she needs help outside 109 Shibuya in Scramble Crossing. However, when you head outside, you will see that the 109 entrance building has been replaced with 104, and it becomes apparent you are in a different Shibuya from your own.

You will then encounter two battles with Noise creatures from NEO: TWEWY. The first one will be in Scramble Crossing with Marin and Moa on your team, with a handful of Noise creatures, which should be an easy match. Moa will then be separated from Marin and get into a fight with a single noise. This match is far easier than the previous one. After this match, you will meet Rindo from NEO: TWEWY, who is relieved to find another player at The Reaper’s Game. 

When do you meet Shoka in Reynatis?

After Moa meets Rindo, you will investigate the area and interact with the environment, which is different from the usual Shibuya. Each time you do this, you will end up in a fight with Noise’s. The first three battles are relatively easy. The last one is mildly more difficult because there are more enemies present.

It will then transition back to Marin’s perspective, where you will end up in two back-to-back battles. These two fights should not present too much of a problem, as you can utilise combo attacks. A cutscene will commence after this battle, where you will see Shoka by the staircase next to the 104 entrance.

Reynatis will come to the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC in North America and Europe on September 27, 2024, and then in Australia on October 4, 2024.
