In Lego Fortnite, collecting various resources is necessary in order to unlock and craft new tools, buildings, and other items that provide big advantages or make exploring new regions possible. Malachite is a higher-tiered material that you’ll need to create some high-level charms and weapons. You might be struggling to find malachite, or might be ill-prepared to collect it once you do. Here’s where to find malachite in lego fortnite, as well as a few preliminary steps to make things easier.
Malachite is found in the Frostlands, a snowy, mountainous region. This area goes down to freezing temperatures. You’re going to need lots of healing or the right equipment to survive. Bring an inner fire charm, and some food that raises your resistance to the cold. Roasted Pepper, which provides a solid two-and-a-half minutes of cold resistance, is the easiest to source. Having both of these will help you avoid freezing temperatures, but you’ll still take damage periodically- so move fast!
You’ll also need an epic pickaxe to mine the malachite. They can be made with obsidian slabs and frostpine rods. You can find obsidian in Dry Valley, and the frostpine to make the rods can conveniently be found in the Frostlands! Make your pickaxe and charm, prep your food, and you’re ready to go.
Once you reach the Frostlands, be on the lookout for the ice walls. They’re large, rocky, and tall. This is where malachite spawns. Build some stairs to the top of these rock formations and search for a protruding, green rock with smooth, hard edges. Once you see it, you’ve found your malachite!
On your journey towards successfully harvesting malachite, you’re probably going to upgrade your village many times over. There’s a lot more you can do besides finding malachite in Lego Fortnite, like acquiring Brightcore, an essential ingredient to many recipes. Find out How to Get Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite.
