Mimikyu Pokemon Plush Returns to Build-a-Bear Ahead of Halloween

Build-a-Bear announced that the Mimikyu Pokemon plush is back again. The ghost-type bundle is once again available in the online storefront. 

This time around, the character will cost someone $71. Build-a-Bear noted that, while the Pokemon plush has been available in-stores in the past, Mimikyu is currently an online exclusive. The listing also noted it can’t be purchased unstuffed, unlike others from the company, so you have to get it as-is, with no scent, and with the five-in-one sound chip. 

As before, the Mimikyu comes with the stuffed animal and two outfits. Since it doesn’t have arms or legs, or at least visible due to its nature as a ghost type, there are no shirts or pants. Instead, there is a hat and bow tie set that looks more formal and a cape and hat set that looks more like sleepwear.

We last saw a new Pokemon plush at Build-a-Bear back in June 2024. That’s when the Munchlax stuffed animal appeared. Snorlax was already a part of the collection, though like Mimikyu it is not always available and is sometimes only sold as an online exclusive at this point.
