New Genshin Impact Trailers Focus on Kinich and His Gameplay

Now that the next Genshin Impact Natlan five-star is about to debut, HoYoVerse shared multiple Kinich trailers showing off his personality and how his gameplay works. As a reminder, he’s the latest claymore-wielder in the game, and he also uses the Dendro element when he attacks.

The first video is a more stylized take on Kinich. It adds a video game element to things, with pixelated effects and sprites throughout. Once the fight is over, it reveals that K’uhul Ajaw was responsible for it.

While this trailer isn’t in English, you can see English subtitles if you turn on closed captions.

The other Kinich Genshin Impact trailer is the typical Collected Miscellany gameplay video. This involves Dainsleif explaining who the character is and how he fights. His Normal Attack involves a three-hit combo. His Elemental Skill involves a grappling hook, and this can be used to attack enemies or to move around the environment if no foes are around. His Burst involves calling upon Ajaw’s power to deal AOE damage to enemies. If his Nightsoul’s Blessing state is in effect, it changes the properties of and adds additional effects to his Skill and Burst.

Here’s that full trailer. Again, English voice-overs aren’t available. However, it is possible to turn on English subtitles via the closed captions feature.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Kinich banner debuts on September 17, 2024. He’ll be available until October 8, 2024, alongside a rerun of Raiden Shogun. The Xbox Series X version of the game launches on November 10, 2024.
