Capcom didn’t announce a release date for the new Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch. It only said it will release soon on all platforms. The new update will improve CPU load, reduce crash frequency, and offer various other adjustments to the game.

As for Dragon’s Dogma 2 PS5 Pro compatibility, the company hasn’t offered details yet on how the enhanced features will change performance or fidelity for the game or when a patch with them will appear. More information about both the new Dragon’s Dogma 2 multiplatform update and the PS5 Pro Enhanced exclusive features will appear in the future.

The last Dragon’s Dogma 2 update released on June 27, 2024. It offered a variety of quality of life changes to the in-game storage system, as well as a variety of other changes and bug fixes. It isn’t the only recent addition. A patch to fix the frequency of the Dragonsplague appeared in late April 2024 shortly after the game released.

Sony announced the PlayStation 5 Pro model on September 10, 2024. The new console model aims to narrow the gap between the performance and quality modes available in several console games by offering higher graphical fidelity using the newly revealed PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) AI upscaling, as well as offering an increase in framerate.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is readily available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide.
