More Dragon Ball Daima Characters and Voice Actors Revealed

Toei Animation shared a new Dragon Ball Daima trailer looking at characters, voice actors, and the Zedd opening theme song at the beginning of September 2024, and now we know about even more of the new cast and the Zedd ending theme due to another update. While there’s no additional trailer highlighting the Zedd and AI ending theme song “Nakama,” we do know more about possible antagonists Degesu, Gomah, and Yoko Hikasa.

As with the song “Jaka Jaan,” Zedd is composing “Nakama.” AI wrote the lyrics for it and sings it. The announcement didn’t note any particular inspiration for the track.

With the three new character and voice actor reveals, each one involves a person who seemed out to get Goku and his friends in Dragon Ball Daima. Dr. Arinsu appears to be the mastermind, and she’s voiced by Yoko Hikasa. Her one underling appears to be Degesu. He’s played by Junya Enoki. Showtaro Morikubo will also appear as Gomah.

Just like the other September 2024 Dragon Ball Daima reveal, this one included brief statements from the actors and artists involved. So AI, Enoki, Hikasa, and Morikubo all talked about the parts they played in the anime.

The Dragon Ball Daima anime will begin airing in Japan on October 11, 2024, though its worldwide release date and streaming service haven’t been confirmed yet. Other Dragon Ball anime adaptations and movies are available on Crunchyroll, and Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.
