How to Obtain Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests in WoW: The War Within

Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests are a reagent used in very high level crafting in WoW: The War Within. Here’s how to obtain them and what to use them for.

How to get Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests in WoW: The War Within

Before you can look at getting a Nascent Crest, you’ll need to gather 90 normal Gilded Harbinger Crests. Crests in WoW: The War Within are essentially a series of currencies earned from various content at different difficulties. Gilded Harbinger Crests are currently the highest tier available and are earned from content like the Mythic difficulty of the Nerub-ar Palace Raid or Mythic Keystone Dungeons of levels +9 and up.

Once you’ve gathered enough Crests, you simply need to find the Enchanting Supplies NPC called Llande in Dornogal to exchange those 90 crests for a Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crest. Llande is located right next to the Enchanting trainer and station in the southern Forgegrounds. Do note that as Gilded Crests are currently the highest tier of crest you cannot trade for them at the exchange, because you can only exchange downwards in value. What are Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests Used for in WoW: The War Within?

As mentioned before, Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crests are used as part of crafting higher level equipment in WoW: The War Within, specifically item level 623-636 gear. But first they need to be made into an Enchanted Gilded Harbinger Crest. You’ll need to either have the Enchanting Profession learned and levelled up with the recipe known (it drops from a variety of content from the expansion), or find someone else who can do it for you. The Crafting Order system makes this easier, as all you need to do is put up the reagents and provide a commission and other players will be able to see and fulfill your order. You can then use the enchanted crest as a reagent when crafting the piece of gear that you want (or as part of another Crafting Order!).
