Harry Potter fans can already play Quidditch Champions right now on a variety of platforms. However, there is one system that is notably missing at launch: Nintendo Switch. Like Hogwarts Legacy, yes, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is coming to Nintendo Switch, but its release date is after the initial launch.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Nintendo Switch Release Date
Unfortunately, I have both bad news and good news. The good news is this latest Harry Potter game is, indeed, coming to Nintendo Switch. However, the bad news is there is no release date at this time. All we have to go on is that it is coming after the other platforms and a general release window.
The general release window for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions to come to Nintendo Switch is Holiday 2024. Other than that, we don’t have a specific date or even month. It seems, though, that the game will at least release for Switch before the end of this year. Perhaps it will arrive sometime in November or December 2024.
Will Nintendo Switch Have Crossplay?
While we don’t know the exact release date at this time, we do know some details about the Nintendo Switch port of Quidditch Champions. For instance, it will likely contain all of the same content as the other ports. This even means that, yes, it will likely have crossplay functionality.
Currently, all of the platforms across PC, PlayStation, and even Xbox are able to play together. Switch will likely be able to do the same. In addition, there is also likely to be cross-progression like the other systems. This means players will be able to take their saves, teams, and levels from any platform to another. This will be especially useful on Switch since players will be able to take it on the go.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will also release for Nintendo Switch in Holiday 2024.
