For about 10 minutes, the television crew for Japanese show Pajapiko will be filming in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). If you’re interested in having your in-game character potentially appear on TV in Japan, you can go and check it out.
The location is in Aegis World on the Elemental server. The crew will be around Eastern La Noscea (X:35.2, Y:27.6) and filming will start from 3:20 PM on September 4, 2024. That’s Japan time, so it would convert to around 11:20 PM PST of September 3, 2024/2:20 AM EST of September 4, 2024. Filming may start either earlier or later than that time though, you might want to get there before 3:20 PM.
According to the announcement tweet, Pajapiko wants to film the in-game world of FFXIV to introduce Eorzea for an episode of its show. People affiliated with the show will also be around Eastern La Noscea and setting off fireworks, so other players are welcome to join them. Comedian and YouTuber (who also posts his own Let’s Plays) Eiko Kano is the host of Pajapiko and you can watch it on TVer or Abema even if you don’t live in Japan.
Final Fantasy XIV is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.
