World of Warcraft The War Within has added new features, which includes Hero Talents, expanded flying, and even a new level cap with the introduction of this expansion. Not sure what the new level cap is? Well, look no further. You can find your answer below!
What is the Level Cap in World of Warcraft The War Within?
The level cap for The War Within expansion is Level 80. Which is a ten level jump up from the level cap of 70 for the Dragonflight expansion. Upon reaching Level 71 players will also get access to the new Hero Talents that have arrived alongside The War Within. This includes a series of new skills and passives for players to learn depending on their build.
For example, a Frost Death Knight can branch out into the Deathbringer or Rider of the Apocalypse Hero Talent trees, whereas a Blood Death Knight can select skills from the San’layn Hero Talents. Which means that your role will dictate what you can and can’t focus on.
One of the best ways to reach the level cap in The War Within is by running dungeons. This includes The Rookery, which you can read about how to unlock and how to clear here. Another option is picking up and completing Side Quests. Another way that more experienced World of Warcraft players level up is by accumulating completed Side Quests and then turning them in, in bulk.
And don’t worry. You don’t need to level in The War Within or complete The War Within to reach Level 80. I ended up grinding some levels in Dragonflight dungeons to unlock more Hero Talents, just to be prepared for whatever the new expansion would throw my way. Additionally, completing the campaign on a single character will allow you to easily grind through dungeons on your alts and allow for access to other unlocks through the Warband system.
World of Warcraft The War Within is available for PC.
