The Pokemon Company has opened global pre-registrations for Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket while announcing its release date. People from all around the world will be able to access and play the new Pokemon TCG Pocket mobile game on October 30, 2024.
Pre-registrations for the new game have opened on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Once the game has gone live, players will be able to open two booster packs for free every day.
The Japanese official website also revealed that the free-to-play game will support subtitles in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, European Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. As a side note, the English official website noted that the original trading card game has been available in 14 languages. However, the former implies that Dutch, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, and Thai language support will not be available at launch.

The company initially revealed the new mobile TCG app at the Pokemon Presents stream in late February 2024. It also announced that DeNA, which also worked on Pokemon Masters EX, is part of the game’s development group.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will be available on Android and iOS mobile devices simultaneously worldwide on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
