Ichiban Kuji NieR: Automata 2B Bust Being Sold Outside Japan

Back in Japan in June 2024, Bandai Namco released an Ichiban Kuji NieR: Automata merchandise lottery that included a 2B Art Scale bust as its B prize. Now, retailers like Amazon and Entertainment Earth are selling that Ichibansho item separately for $69.99.

The 2B Art Scale bust is almost eight inches tall (20cm). It includes her head, shoulders, and upper chest. She’s also wearing her typical outfit in it. The figure is designed as such that someone could choose to display her with her goggles on, or remove the wrap so that you can see her eyes.

Here are some closer photos of the item:

When it will arrive varies. Entertainment Earth noted that it expects the statue to appear sometime in October 2024. However, the Amazon product page included a November 1, 2024 release date.

2B is frequently used as an inspiration for new figures and merchandise based on the NieR: Automata series. For example, Kotobukiya announced a new ARTFX J figure of her back in July 2024. The acrylic blocks of different characters sold at Comiket 104 also included one of her among them.

NieR: Automata is available on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC. There is also an anime adaptation that is available to stream via Crunchyroll. The chiban Kuji NieR: Automata 2B Art Scale bust is expected to ship outside Japan in October 2024 at the earliest.
