In Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4, you are able to get a new Imaginary Hunt version of March 7th. Read ahead to find out how to access this new Path and Type for our favorite pink-haired archer.
How do I get the Imaginary Hunt path for March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail
About halfway through the 2.4 story, the “March to Mastery: A Star is Born” Trailblaze Continuance quest starts. During this time, the game lets you take control of March 7th as she trains with Yunli and Yanqing for the upcoming Wardance. After a short cutscene and a tutorial battle, you can unlock her new Path via her character menu. Like with Trailblazer, you can switch back to the regular Ice Preservation March at any time. However, also like Trailblazer, you have to re-equip her Light Cone and Relics. Fortunately, the game saves your settings so you don’t have to go through the menu every time.
Keep in mind that because Imaginary Hunt has new Traces, you have to level up her Traces again as well. She takes the Meteoric Bullet Trace Materials. You can farm them via the Crimson Calyx: Bud of the Hunt on Penacony.
How is Imaginary Hunt March 7th as a character?
While the Preservation version of March was pretty good after you max out her Eidolons, other Preservation and Abundance units outperformed her. This is not surprising, as she was just a free starter unit when you first boot up the game. However, despite also being a free character, Imaginary Hunt March 7th is quite good. There are also multiple ways to use her in battle, meaning that you can adjust your build and team depending on your preferred strategy.
The two options you can use March 7th for is on a Break team or on a more normal DPS team. If you want to run her as a Break-oriented DPS, you already have one of her best supports: Imaginary Trailblazer! As for using March 7th as a more ordinary DPS character, she works the best as a sub-DPS to another attacker. This means you can easily run her with either version of Dan Heng. This makes March 7th a useful F2P-friendly unit to invest in, especially since she’s not exactly difficult to master.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Imaginary Hunt version of March 7th is a permanent addition to Honkai: Star Rail during the “March to Mastery: A Star Is Born” Trailblaze Continuance quest.
