Ratna Petit of Nijisanji announced that she’ll be on a temporary hiatus, as she’s recovering from emergency surgery. There’s no information on her Twitter (X) account as to when she’ll be back.
According to the post, Ratna had to get emergency surgery because she was feeling unwell. At the time of her tweet, which was almost 6 AM PT (meaning it would be 9:45 PM in Japan), she had just woken up. At the end of her message, she stated that it would be a little while until she’s fit to leave the hospital, so she hopes that everyone will wait for her and support her in the meantime. She said she wants to meet everyone again in her streams.
Ratna Petit is a Nijisanji VTuber who debuted in August 2019 as part of the Posanke trio. The other members of this generation are Amamiya Kokoro and Eli Conifer. As of the time of writing, she has 604,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel. Like most other VTubers with Nijisanji, Ratna’s main online activities are streaming herself playing games and posting song covers. However, Ratna also includes official kirinukis (digests) of her streams, making it easier for people to get a feel of her streaming style without having to watch a long video.
Ratna Petit is on temporary hiatus to recover from surgery and will return some time in the future. She will likely post updates via her Twitter account. Other VTubers who recently had to go on medical leave include Ookami Mio of hololive, who was in the hospital for surgery as well.
