When does the Concord Early Access Weekend end?

While initially only set to run from July 12-14, 2024, Sony announced it is now playing loose with the definition of “weekend.” The early access beta will now end on Monday, July 15, 2024. This extension applies to all players who have access to the beta. Expect the extension to last until around 12pm PT/3pm ET/9pm CET.

The beta was initially only available for those who pre-ordered the game. Sony eventually opened it up to all Playstation Plus users. PC players, however, need to pre-order the game to access it.

The upcoming open beta will be available for everyone on both PS5 and PC.

What can I expect during the Concord Early Access Weekend?

During the early access beta, players can experience all 16 launch characters, which are also customizable. The beta features four maps and three game modes: Cargo Run, Clash Point, and Trophy Hunt.

Additionally, any progress made during the Concord Early Access weekend will carry over to the upcoming full beta. However, no progress from either beta will transfer to the full game.

Instead, players participating in the beta will receive exclusive rewards, including the Frog Weapon Charm, a Star Flare Icon, and a Business Card. Following the early access weekend, the open beta will run from July 18-21, 2024.

Despite being a live service style game, Concord will not be a free-to-play title. However, it will launch at a more modest price point of $39.99. Concord is expected to include 16 characters, 12 maps, and six team-based modes at launch, with regular post-launch updates planned for free.

Concord is set to release on August 23, 2024 for the Playstation 5 and PC.
