How to Unlock the Tender Valley Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail

Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail, like previous expansions, hosts a variety of post-Main Scenario Quest dungeons. Tender Valley is one such Dungeon. This guide will tell you everything you need to know in order to unlock the Tender Valley Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail, and all accompanying Side-Quests associated with it.

How to Unlock the Tender Valley Dungeon in FFXIV Dawntrail

In order to unlock the Tender Valley Dungeon the following requirements must be met:

  • Reach Level 100 on any Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic Job Class
  • Complete the Main Scenario Quest “Dawntrail”
  • Obtain Item Level 690
  • Accept the Side-Quest “It Belongs in a Museum”

Players will need to complete the Main Scenario Quests up to “Dawntrail” in order to unlock Tender Valley, as it is a post-MSQ dungeon. You will also need to reach Item Level 690 at bare minimum. This can be done easily one you’ve acquired your Artifact Gear, which you can read more about here.

From there, head to Tuliyollal and speak to Zeycihan at X:14.0, Y:12.5. Accept the quest “It Belongs in a Museum.” The questline is extremely straight-forward, and you only need to do as instructed. It will lead you directly to the location where you will unlock this Dungeon. Additionally, upon unlocking Tender Valley, it will be added to your Expert Roulette.
