When a new PC release drops, the first thing most players want to know is how demanding it is. Let’s take a look at the system requirements for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and see if your PC can handle the expansion.

Luckily, it seems like the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has about the same requirements as the base game of Elden Ring. This, of course, makes sense as it’s an add-on to the game, so it should run completely the same. So, if you have already played Elden Ring on your PC, you’re probably going to be fine with the DLC.   • Graphics: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD RADEON RX 580 4 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 60 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Processor: INTEL CORE I7-8700K or AMD RYZEN 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD RADEON RX VEGA 56 8 GB
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 60 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device

Thankfully, the minimum requirements are pretty light by modern PC standards. However, if you find that your PC just isn’t cutting it you can always pick up Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on console.

Elden Ring is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Shadow of Erdtree DLC appears on June 21, 2024.
