Honkai: Star Rail Imaginary Harmony Trailblazer Early Unlock Explained

In the 2.2 Honkai: Star Rail update, the Imaginary Harmony Trailblazer debuted, and in 2.3 HoYoVerse will add a way to unlock it early for people who aren’t that far along in the story. Ahead of the patch on June 19, 2024, the developer explained when and how this unlock will work.

Typically, someone needs to basically nearly beat the Honkai: Star Rail Penacony storyline to unlock the Imaginary Harmony Trailblazer after 2.2. It’s a part of the “Beauty and Destruction” Trailblaze Mission. Once 2.3 arrives, someone needs to finish “Jarilo-VI – The Return” to get the option to unlock this new path and element. You can then go into the Event Menu and select “When Charmony Rings Out…” to get the new option for the character.

HoYoVerse also confirmed people who did already complete the 2.2 Penacony Trailblaze Mission will get their own reward. If they go to that area of the Event Menu, they will get a Shadow of Harmony item. They can use this to unlock an Eidolon for that path for their Trailblazer. Likewise, once people who claimed the early unlock for the Harmony Imaginary character reach that “Beauty and Destruction” section, they will get the Shadow of Harmony as well.

As a reminder, the Harmony Imaginary Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail helps with increasing damage. Its standard Skill hits multiple enemies with Imaginary damage. However, its Ultimate applies the Backup Dancer effect to all allies for a limited time that allows them to hit all enemies whose weakness is broken a second time when they attack.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 2.3 update launches on June 19, 2024.
