How do I get Starfield Creations Credits for free?

There is one way to get the Credits to buy Creations for free, but there is a bit of a catch to it. You aren’t technically getting them for free, since you have to spend some money. Those players who own the Premium Edition of the spacefaring RPG from Bethesda will be given 1,000 free Credits to use on Creations.

That is basically enough to get two premium Creations, depending on the cost. Some of them range from 400-700 Credits. Of course, you do have to upgrade to the Premium Edition of the game to get this. This is arguably worth it for some players, since it gets you access to the Shattered Space DLC when it releases.

How much do Starfield Creations Credits cost?

If you still need to get more Starfield Creations Credits, that is no problem whatsoever if you don’t mind forking over a little cash to Microsoft. It is possible to purchase more Credits based on however much you need by pressing the X button on controller while in the Creations menu. You do get slight discounts if you purchase them in bulk in larger amounts. However, I do recommend taking a look at the Creations you want first before buying Credits. You might find you only need a handful of the currency and don’t need to purchase a huge amount.

Here are all of the various available amounts you can purchase Credits in and their associated prices in USD:

  • 500 Creation Credits: $4.99
  • 1000 Creation Credits: $9.99
  • 2700 Credits: $24.99
  • 5500 Credits: $49.99

Starfield is available right now for the Xbox Series X/S and PC.
