Back when the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PlayStation 5 version was announced and initially discussed, it had a brief exclusivity period. On May 29, 2024, that expired. Now as part of The Game Awards 2024 announcements, Square Enix revealed a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC port. It will launch on January 23, 2025.
The came up alongside a new trailer from the game. It touched on a number of the plot points seen before, as well as showed off how both Cait Sith and Yuffie end up being new additions to the party for this portion of the adventure.
This Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC port falls in line with what happened with the last Final Fantasy VII Remake game. Square Enix noted it would be a PlayStation 4 exclusive until April 10, 2021. An Intergrade PlayStation 5 version followed that, as well as a PC one via Epic Games Store.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PC on January 23, 2025, and it is immediately available on the PS5. The original Final Fantasy VII Remake is on the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the third entry in the series is in development. FFVII Ever Crisis is also available worldwide on both the PC and mobile devices.
