How to Start Home Sweet Home in SMT V

You are able to start the Home Sweet Home side quest by speaking with the group of Halphas with the quest marker just near the Nagatacho leyline fast travel point. This is the one right by the Tokyo Diet Building. The problem is there is a prerequisite quest you need to do before completing this one.

You need to go southwest of this location and speak with the Oni with the quest marker. Complete the short and sweet Movin’ On Up quest first. Once done with this, you should be able to start Home Sweet Home.

Where to Find a Home for the Halphas in SMT V Vengeance

The Home Sweet Home quest has to do with a family of Halphas. They are not loving their new lives in Minato and want a new home. Unfortunately, they have quite a few requirements, which are as follows:

  • A place that is cool
  • Sturdy in its structure
  • Has a bodyguard

Fortunately, we know just a place like that from our previous quest. Head back to the Oni’s cave and speak with him. Then, return to the Halphas to complete this sub-quest and finally find a true purpose and home for both parties. You get a nice reward, too, for doing this. You receive the Unwrit Chaos Periapt, which unlocks a new skill.

Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
