There are so many different Echoes for players to collect in Wuthering Waves, but there are some excellent ones decently early in the game that you shouldn’t miss out on. One of these earlier Echoes that are worth picking up is the Carapace, which players can get from the Chaserazor enemy in Wuthering Waves.
Carapace Location in Wuthering Waves
First and foremost, there is the Carapace location, where you can find the Chaserazor crab-like enemy and get this Echo skill. Fortunately, it is quite easy to get to, being only a short distance from the initial hub city of Jinzhou. All you need to do is head outside of the city through the north exit.
You’ll find this particular Carapace Echo skill alongside the eastern main road north of Jinzhou on the way to the next region. It is northeast of Qichi Village, just north of the nearby fast travel point, and due east of this region’s tower. The crab is just off the side of the road in a clearing area, as seen in the image below.
How the Carapace Chaserazor Echo Skill Works
The key part about the Carapace Echo skill is you need to defeat the Chaserazor mini-boss enemy to obtain it in Wuthering Waves. This massive crab is level 20, and you should be at least this level or higher to defeat it. Once you beat this enemy, you’ll be able to use this skill from then on.
The Carapace skill works because it costs three dollars to use. Like other Echoes, you turn into the enemy upon use. However, the Carapace attack is a spinning one that affects a wide range of enemies. Overall, it deals some serious Aero AOE damage, which makes it a valuable tool in combat.
Wuthering Waves is available right now for free for Android, iOS, and PC.
