As expected, the site offers insights into preparing for Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail. The free trial for the base game is advertised right away, so someone could sample the MMORPG and get started if they haven’t experienced it before. There’s also the link to the benchmark tool. (Note that the updated version of it isn’t available as of 11:30am ET on May 30, 2024.)

The other sections go into more details about the areas, elements, and encounters in the expansion. The World section establishes the Tural continent, which consists of Xak Tural and Yok Tural. It brings up how the region is home to the cities and places like Tuliyollal, Solution Nine, Urqopacha, Yak T’el, Kozama’uka, Shaaloani, and Heritage Found. That section also goes over enemies like Valigarmanda, Barreltender, and Eliminator, as well as races like the Pelupelu, Mamool Ja, Yok Huy, and Hanuhanu. The jobs area focuses on concept art, screenshots, and clips for the Viper and Pictomancer. Meanwhile, the female Hrothgar race and graphical update both ended up placed in Systems.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Dawntrail expansion debuts on July 2, 2024.
