Ookami Mio Still in Hospital, According to Social Media

Ookami Mio, a VTuber with Hololive, tweeted that she is still unable to leave the hospital. She made this post on her official side account.

Close to midnight on May 20, 2024, Mio made a post on her “ookamimio_sab” secondary account. It is very short, simply stating that she can’t leave the hospital yet, followed by a crying kaomoji. She did not provide any details. Some of her Hololive co-workers (Shishiro Botan and Hakui Koyori) responded to this tweet from their official accounts, expressing sympathy. The quoted retweets and replies are also full of people hoping for her recovery, as well as agreeing with how stressed she can be due to her sickness preventing her from going to work.

On May 13, 2024, the official Cover Twitter (X) account stated that Ookami Mio is in the hospital for long-term care. Neither Cover nor Mio disclosed what condition she is experiencing. As a result of this, she canceled her appearances at Hololive Gamers Fes and Music Verse. Tsunomaki Watame will be appearing at Hololive Gamers Fes in Mio’s place.

Ookami Mio is a Hololive VTuber who debuted in 2018 as part of the Gamers group. Other members of her generation include Shirakami Fubuki and Inugami Korone. As of the time of writing, she has over 1.18 million subscribers on YouTube.
