Tools are essential in Hades 2 to get resources to increase your overall power. Gathering Tools allow you to reap rewards from the environment, which are needed in a lot of advanced Incantations as well as weapons and Prophecies. Here’s everything you need to know about every tool in Hades 2.

How to Unlock Every Gathering Tool In Hades 2

In order to unlock tools, you must first complete the Night’s Craftwork Incantation at the Crossroads. Night’s Craftwork can be completed by gathering a single Moly flower from Erebus.

Below is a list of every Tool in Hades 2 and the resources you need to unlock them:

After you complete the Night’s Craftwork Incantation, you can then craft Gathering Tools in the Silver Pool at the Crossroads. This area can be found next to the Training Grounds, and it looks like a bunch of pentagrams on the ground.

Once you have created a Tool, the item will appear in the lower pentagram. You will need to manually switch out your Gathering Tool when you want to change it, as Melinoe can only carry one at at time. Simply walk up to the floating Tool in the Pentagram and interact with it to equip it.

To make gaining resources easier, do the Reagent Sensing Incantation. The Reagent Sensing Incantation will direct you to nearby resources on the map, letting you know where it is nearby.

The Reagent Sensing Incantation requires the following materials:

• Moly x 1

As stated above, Moly can be found in Erebus. You’re also able to collect Moly without any tools. Because this Incantation is so easy to get, we recommend that you get this early on, shortly after getting the Night’s Craftwork Incantation.

How to Create A Crescent Pick in Hades 2

The Crescent Pick is a tool used to mine ore deposits. Ore deposits look like rocks with crescent moons on them. The ores you collect with the Crescent Pick are essential to future upgrades in the game, so make sure you get the Crescent Pick as early as possible.

You need the following materials to create a Crescent Pick:

• Ash x 1

You can farm Ashes by going through gates with Ashes marked on them and defeating all the enemies beyond them. You can also get Ashes from the Wretched Broker by buying it with Bones.

You’ll be able to get the following materials with the Crescent Pick:

• Silver
• Limestone
• Marble
• Plasma
• Bronze
• Glassrock

How to Get the Silver Spade in Hades 2

The Silver Spade is a tool used to dig seeds, which you can later plant at the Crossroads. Creating a Spade costs the following resources:

• Silver x 10

You can get Silver by mining it with the Crescent Pickaxe in Erebus. Using the Spade, you can get the following seeds:

• Garlic Cloves
• Nightshade Seeds
• Mystery Seeds
• Wheat Seeds
• Poppy Seeds
• Cattail Seeds
• Bath Salts
• Origin Seeds

How to Get The Tablet Of Peace in Hades 2

The Tablet of Peace lets you gain Psyche. It does this by compelling Lone Shades to the Crossroads. By doing this, you will trigger a minigame where you have to hit the right button at the right time four times. If you fail twice, the Shade will leave, and you won’t get any rewards.

Psyche is used for certain Incantations like the Divination of the Elements, which reveals the elemental affinities of boons; Necromantic Influcentc, which turns Lone Shadows against foes; and Shadow Extraction, which allows you to gain Shadows, which are used in powerful incantations, like the one that lets you access the Surface.

Creating a Tablet of Peace costs the following resources:

• Psyche x 5
• Silver x 5

You can also gain Psyche by buying it from the Wretched Broker, going through gates with the Psyche icon over them, or purchasing it from Charon’s shop. You can get Silver by mining it with the Crescent Pickaxe.

How to Get the Rod Of Fishing in Hades 2

The Rod of Fishing lets you catch fish from rippling bodies of water that are found in almost every map. Fish don’t do much yet. The only thing you can do with fish right now is sell them to the Wretched Broker for 20 to 30 Bones.

In order to create the Rod of Fishing, you need the following materials:

• Fate Fabrics x 2
• Bronze x 1

Fate Fabrics can be obtained by buying them from the Wretched Broker. Bronze can be mined by the Crescent Pickaxe on the Surface.
