Bandai revealed a new figure collection titled Kirby Pupupu Train that will be available via gashapon. The company is gradually adding the figures to Gashapon vending machines across Japan in the third week of May 2024. People will have to spend 400 yen to pull a random item from this lineup.
This Gashapon will have a unique feature in which the owner can connect multiple figures like train cars. Each figure will have an approximate height of 4 cm (~1.57 inches).
The collection will consist of four figures. Kirby will appear in two versions: the regular appearance and a train station officer version with a hat and whistle. Waddle Dee and Waddle Doo will complete the lineup.
Here is how they all look:
Merchandise from the Kirby video game series has been popularly sought after in Japan. One of the most notable examples was the Happy Meal toy lineup in McDonald’s Japan. Despite releasing in late February 2024 with an initial timeframe of three weeks, the restaurant chain sold out all stocks of the toys in just a week.
