How to Get Iron in V Rising Iron Smelting

There are plenty of valuable crafting materials for players to collect in V Rising, including various metals. One of the most valuable metals players should get as early as possible is iron ore, which players can use in smelting to make ingots for use throughout V Rising for armor and the like.

Where to Get Iron in V Rising

The entire process of making iron armor and weaponry like maces begins with getting some iron ore. This is a basic metal material players must gather using only gear level 12 weapons or higher.

This is your Merciless Copper weaponry or better. You then want to destroy iron nodes in the world to gather it. There are quite a few places to find iron ore throughout the server, but there are a few that I recommend for the abundance of the various nodes you need:

• Farbane Woods
• Dunley Farmlands
• Haunted Iron Mine: Cave in the southern edge of the Farmlands (this is by far the best and most reliable location)

How to use V Rising Iron Smelting to Make Ingots

Once you have some iron ore in V Rising, it is time to turn them into ingots by smelting. This is how you get the materials needed to make the next tier of weapons and armor in the game to better yourself. First, you need to build a furnace if you don’t already have one. For this, you need the following materials:

• 480 Stone
• 60 Copper Ore

After you build yourself a furnace, you can then make iron ingots. To do this, you need the following amount of iron ore:

• 20 iron ore: This makes a single iron ingot

Note that you are going to need a ton of iron ore if you would like to get a full set of iron gear, such as crossbows and swords.
