Roze of the Recapture takes place five years after the Lelouch of the Re;surrection movie. It features an all-new cast of characters. The title’s eponymous protagonist, Roze, is a strategy genius who is voiced in Japanese by Kohei Amasaki. He has an elder brother named Ash, who is also an expert Knightmare Frame pilot. The two are collectively known as the Nameless Mercenaries, and they take on a request to liberate Hokkaido from the oppression of the Neo Britannian Empire.

The new title comprises four movie chapters. The remaining chapters will appear in theaters on a monthly basis, with the fourth and final chapter launching on August 2, 2024. The movies will also be gradually available to stream via Disney Plus starting from late June 2024.

Sunrise has also published a new character trailer featuring Roze on the Code Geass series’ YouTube channel:

At the same time, Bandai Spirits has opened the pre-order window for the Metal Robot Spirits <Side KMF> action figure of Ash’s Knightmare Frame Zi-Apollo. The product is also available on the USA Premium Bandai store at $175. The company will release the action figure in Japan in January 2025 and in the USA in February 2025.

The first chapter of Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture is available to watch in Japanese theaters. The pre-order window for the Metal Robot Spirits <Side KMF> Zi-Apollo action figure, which is set to release in early 2025, has also opened.
