7-Eleven in Japan teased an upcoming Nijisanji campaign involving Vtubers. More information about it and possible merchandise tied to it will come out on May 6, 2024.
It seems that there will be eight different VTubers who’ll be part of this campaign. We can only see little bits and pieces of their visual, so it’s hard to immediately recognize anyone. Some of the VTubers who’ll likely be part of this are Ibrahim, Furen, Yumeoi Kakeru, and Hoshikawa Sara. According to the post, all of them will be wearing matching outfits.
In terms of the actual campaign, you will probably be able to purchase 7-Eleven products from the convenience stores that have the Nijisanji VTubers on the packaging. Of course, we will know more concrete details about it on May 6, 2024.
In spite of the rather negative reputation Anycolor and Nijisanji have garnered overseas, it is still a very big agency and company in Japan. Last year, NijiFes made over 6.4 billion JPY in ticket sales and a 7th anniversary festival will take place in February 2025. A lot of the money Anycolor makes from these VTubers also comes from goods, which would likely include whatever will be available at 7-Eleven stores for this collaboration.
More information on the 7-Eleven Nijisanji campaign will come out on May 6, 2024.
