All of the merchandise feature Ryuko, Satsuki, and Mako wearing formal dresses. While Satsuki’s holding what looks like a flute of champagne, both Ryuko and Mako are wearing bouquets. Kill la Kill is an original television series from Trigger. It follows the story of Ryuko Matoi who is looking for her father’s killer. Her search brings her to Honnouji Academy, where she faces off against the student council president Satsuki Kiryuin. Despite the show’s age, it has remained popular enough to still get merchandise in recent years. For example, Good Smile Company released a Pop Up Parade figure of Mako in 2021.
Kill la Kill is readily available on streaming services such as Hulu. The anniversary goods will come out in mid-July 2024, which would be the perfect season for stripping down and showing your loyalty to Nudist Beach.
