Palworld has introduced the v0.2.0.6 update, which adds new features and the highly anticipated Bellanoir Raid to the game. Unfortunately, though, it also broke Incubators – here’s how to fix your Incubators not working in Palworld so you can get right back to hatching Eggs once more.

Why are my Incubators not working in Palworld? Egg bug explained

While the v0.2.0.6 update brings a lot to be excited about to Palworld, it, unfortunately, broke Incubators, rendering players unable to place their Eggs inside and hatch new Pals. This is especially frustrating because currently, the only way to obtain the new Raid Pal, Bellanoir, is by hatching a Huge Dark Egg, which you can’t do if you can’t incubate it.

Palworld‘s developer, Pocketpair, is aware of the situation and has promised a fix for the bug on X, stating, “…It has been reported that there is an issue where eggs cannot be placed inside the incubator. We apologize for this inconvenience.” In the meantime, though, there is an easy workaround.

How to fix Incubators not working in Palworld

It took me some trial and error to figure out, but you can fix your Incubators not working in Palworld by simply destroying your current Incubator and building a new one. Yep, it’s that simple. Thankfully, the feature isn’t completely broken; I was worried for a moment when I couldn’t hatch my Bellanoir Egg!

It is frustrating to have to build your Incubators all over again, but it definitely could be worse. The bug will likely be fixed in the coming days, so hang tight. In the meantime, there’s plenty to explore in the latest v0.2.0.6 update outside of the new Raid, such as finally being able to change your appearance – it’s about time! There’s also a new ring that makes completing your Paldeck significantly easier.

Palworld is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
