How to Craft a Power Cell in Lego Fortnite – Recipe

The Power Cell is essentially like the battery for the cars in this survival crafting game. You need them or else you won’t be able to power your motorized vehicles. There is actually quite an odd way of obtaining the Power Cell, which comes from its crafting recipe. To make a Power Cell in this game, you need the following items:

  • Glass x 6
  • Biomass x 50

Glass is pretty easy to get in this game. All you need to do is either head to the beaches or the desert biome in the world and use a shovel to get sand. Then, use a Metal Smelter to turn that sand into glass. Biomass is the tricky part when it comes to making a Power Cell. For this one, you need to build a Compost Bin. The goal of this item is to recycle other materials into biomass, fertilizer, or soil. In my experience, items like bones and claws were able to turn into biomass.

What to use the Power Cell for in Lego Fortnite

Now that you have a Power Cell, it is time to get to work with it in Lego Fortnite. The main reason you want to get this item is to make a motorized vehicle or car in this game. It is an essential component, as it acts like a battery or gas for the vehicle to run. There are three different cars players can craft in the game, plus custom ones, and all three of them require a Power Cell to run them.

Unfortunately, Power Cells are not an infinite source of energy. They will eventually run out, and players will need to replenish their supplies by making new ones using the steps above. You want to connect a Power Center to your vehicle. Then, interact with it to place the Power Cell in it and power the car.

Lego Fortnite is available right now for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
