This could mean a secret, a treasure chest, a ladder, a readable document, a Seeker’s Token, or literally anything else.

While this might sound obvious on the surface, players will quickly notice that the map marker will sometimes stay on your screen even after you think you’ve searched the entire area completely. This is because the exclamation point in Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not go away until you have discovered the exact secret concerning the point of interest, which can, again, vary.

For example, while traveling through Vern, I came across a few exclamation points and chose to investigate them.
