The new SMT V Vengeance release date is a full week earlier than its original release date of June 21, 2024. As before, the definitive version of the turn-based JRPG will drop for all modern platforms. This includes Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The sudden change of the Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance release date comes with new info regarding the new story path. The first half of the new Canon of Vengeance storyline will be largely the same as the original, but with the new gameplay improvements.

The main character, Nahobino, will encounter Yoko Hiromine and her tale of revenge. Players will be able to occasionally have guest characters, who will join the party and fight much like the typical demons the player controls. The gameplay will see a major expansion over the base Nintendo Switch version, with 20 new Magatsuhi Skills, more demons, and additional demon-exclusive attacks.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will now release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on June 14, 2024.
