How to Marry Berengaria in Unicorn Overlord

Berengaria is a lot of trouble in Unicorn Overlord, both when it comes to trying to recruit and marry her. However, if you follow the right steps, you can make it happen.

So how do I get Berengaria to marry Alain in Unicorn Overlord?

First, you need to recruit Berengaria. She comes up almost immediately after you get to Drakenhold in a Main Quest called “The General in Black.” She’ll escape during the battle, and you need to have Alain reach her in time and “talk” to her to recruit her.

Next, you need to get your Rapport levels between Alain and Berengaria up to three. It’s very easy to do this via meals

From there, you need to make sure the locations of the three Rapport conversations they share are under Liberation protection. The first is at Drakenhold’s Kleitur Town, the second is at Gozefauss Town, and the third is at Dreibaum Town. All of these are in Drakenhold. Given certain circumstances surrounding the character., I recommend just clearing the Main Quests for the region, then fully liberating it before starting to “date” Berengaria.

From there, you need to get the Ring of the Maiden. If you have it, head to the Palevia shrine. When the conversation begins, offer Berengaria the ring to begin the process to marry her in Unicorn Overlord. Before you even ask her, she’ll kick things offer with a certain response. You then need to make the following two choices:

  • I’d like you to have the Ring of the Maiden.
  • We’ll face those consequences together.

Only then will she agree and become Alain’s wife.

Unicorn Overlord is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X
