How to Recruit Tatiana by Deciding on Unicorn Overlord Experiments

Unique Cleric units can be something of a rare commodity in Unicorn Overlord, which is why you need to select the right answer regarding some unethical experiments to recruit Tatiana. She appears in “The Tortured Helm” in Cornia and, depending on your answer, you might lose out on this former enemy.

How do I recruit Tatiana and handle Lord Ghislain’s experiments in Unicorn Overlord?

So you really only need to worry about getting through “The Tortured Helm” first. This mission takes place around Oeville Town, Chouvre Town, and Fort Epine Morceaux. Once you approach Oeville from the north, heading south from Prashvari Town, you can trigger the story scenes with Tatiana and Lord Ghislain.

This is a fairly typical Side Quest, and you don’t need to do anything special during “The Tortured Helm.” No need to worry about the fight against Tatiana, talking to her, or completing certain achievements. Just get through the battle.

Once you win the fight, you’ll get a Black-Iron Axe, a Healing Tonic (M), the House Chouvre key item, and a chance to talk to Tatiana. She’ll explain the situation more fully and discuss what she and Lord Ghislain were working on. If you want to recruit Tatiana in Unicorn Overlord, you must select “the experiments may continue.” This will make the Cleric, sans her plague doctor mask, join the Liberation Army.

One interesting thing to note is that if you recruit both Tatiana and Hilda, the two can take part in Rapport conversations. This is due to the two characters dealing with similar situations as a result of Zenoira’s influence.

Unicorn Overlord is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X
