Nippon Ichi Software revealed that it will hold an orchestra concert to mark its 30th anniversary, complete with Disgaea music. The concert will take place in Ginza, Tokyo, on June 23, 2024.
The concert’s setlist will feature tracks from numerous games that Nippon Ichi Software has released. While music from the company’s flagship Disgaea series is obviously included, the concert will also have titles with tracks from Tenpei Sato, such as the 2016 dungeon crawler RPG Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk and the 1998 classic PlayStation entry Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. It will also include music from the company’s other games, such as Yomawari, Mad Rat Dead, and The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince.
G-Dream 21 Ladies Orchestra will perform the game tracks in the concert, with Kazuhiko Sakamoto as the conductor. Tenpei Sato will supervise the concert and also attend the event in person as a guest.
Tickets for the concert will be available in two tiers. The regular A-tier tickets will cost 5,990 yen (~$40.55). The S-tier tickets will let people watch the concert from the closest seating area with a higher price tag of 7,990 yen (~$54).
The Nippon Ichi Software 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert will take place at Ginza Blossom in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
