How to Recruit Amalia in Unicorn Overlord

Amalia is a potential recruit in Unicorn Overlord, but the pattern doesn’t follow the typical one in the game. Instead, you need to go through an optional side activity to unlock her after meeting her.

How do I recruit Amalia in Unicorn Overlord?

So first, you need to head to Drakenhold and go through a number of its Main missions. This means finishing “The Priestess, Abducted” in Cornia, then getting through “The Kingdom of Dragons” and “Another Prince” in Drakenhold.

While Amalia will actually be a controllable ally in “Another Prince” and appear in story segments, you won’t recruit her for your army in Unicorn Overlord after the battle or ensuing story segments. Rather, she’s tied to the new Baumratte Coliseum you gain access to after this Main quest. You need to go into the Offline Battle mode and 29 matches to earn her.

Frankly, it’s going to take a while to get her! Amalia’s match is Enemy Level 40 as the designated Grand Champion. Considering you might only be around level 15 when you get to “Another Prince” and the level recommendation for the final Main quest “Unicorn Overlord” is 40, it is quite possible you won’t get her until you reach the end of the game.

Once you do manage to climb the offline ranks, however, beating her once makes her a recruit for your army and playable character.

Unicorn Overlord is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X
